The role
Reporting to Finance Manager, The accountant will Lead the bookkeeping team for posting invoices in timely manner, liaising with end-users and supply chain in order to resolve complex problems and will prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements as requested in order to complete the month-end closure in time.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile supplier accounts on daily basis
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the controlling department
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Organize with the team the documents archive and storage
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Upgrade the knowledge related to taxation and Syscoa accounting
- Support any stakeholder of the company in any actions request to complete the finance department objectives
- Perform any lawful instruction/duty as requested in order to achieve the department’ objectives.

- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with Company standards and procedures
- Ensure hazard management plans are observed.
- Keep statutory and internal reporting as required
Position requirements
- Minimum Bac+3 in Finance/ Accounting
- Problem solving capabilities
- French / English language skills essential
- Working experience with pack office Microsoft
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and build effective relationships and networks
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
