Endeavour Mining presents a unique opportunity to join its Strategy & Business Development team. Reporting to the EVP – Strategy & Business Development, the role will focus on M&A, corporate finance and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities
M&A:
- Participation in origination, sourcing, screening and prioritization of opportunities
- Assessment of acquisition and investment opportunities
- Execution of transactions: due diligence, valuation, documentation
- Project management of asset disposal processes, including process preparation (sell-side financial model, dataroom, infomemo) and management of sale process.
Strategic planning & financial modelling:
- Core member of team running the group-wide strategic planning process
- Analysis of potential organic growth and business improvement opportunities from both a financial and strategic perspective
- Collaboration with mine sites and technical teams to challenge and prioritise strategic priorities
- Preparation of presentation materials and model outputs for senior management and the board
- Management of the company’s corporate financial model
- Periodically update the corporate financial model based on developments in the business
- Continuously improving the corporate financial model to ensure it remains an agile, robust and powerful business planning tool
- Provide model scenario analysis for multiple stakeholders across the organization
Corporate finance:
- Participation in the formulation of our capital allocation strategy, including approach to capital structure and shareholder returns
- Analysis of long-term financing requirements (debt sizing and debt capacity analysis)
- Selection of relevant financing instruments / mix
- Participation in the execution of long-term financings: structuring, negotiation, documentation
- Management of banking relationships.
Position requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ work experience in positions relevant for this role: M&A, strategic planning, private equity, investment management, investment banking, equity research, project finance) with transaction track record
- Metals & Mining background
- Advanced financial modelling experience essential
- Technical background is a plus (e.g. mining engineering, geology)
- Second language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian) is a plus
- Engineering, accounting or business degree.
