At Endeavour, we know that being responsible stewards of the environment is critical to our long-term success as a business.
We also recognise that gold mining and its associated processes have an impact on the natural environment. We are committed to managing, mitigating and minimising the impacts of our operations on the environment, which is also something our stakeholders expect from us.
Zero harm
We have a ‘Zero Harm’ philosophy to both environmental management and our business approach. This philosophy underpins our Environmental Policy, which is implemented on the ground through Group-level Environmental Management Standards (EMS) and site-specific Environmental Management Practices (EMPs).
Moreover, we achieved ISO 14001 certification across our operations during the year which we believe is testament to the strength of our environmental management systems (EMS) and procedures
