In 2024, the Endeavour Foundation expanded its partnership with the Senegalese Agency for Reforestation and the Great Green Wall (ASERGMV) to further advance reforestation and community resilience in the Bakel region, a key border area between Senegal, Mali, and Mauritania.

Since 2022, Endeavour’s efforts have led to the reforestation of 410 hectares across several villages and the creation of vital agricultural infrastructure, including a solar-powered irrigation system supporting a women-led farm in Sarré. This year, with an additional investment of 119 million FCFA, 260 hectares were reforested in Golmy and Aroundou, advancing climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and poverty reduction.

Our collaboration with ASERGMV reflects Endeavour Mining’s commitment to strengthening climate resilience in Bakel’s communities.
